    Seems like a great idea!
    One question though, do you not have to worry about bits of the painters tape coming off and ending up in the bobbin case (from when you puncture the first stitch or two)?

I couldn't see any bits of the tape coming off. It kind of just pushed the tape edges outward. I tried to take a picture of the throat plate underneath so you can kind of see the little bumped out edges.[ATTACH=CONFIG]563241[/ATTACH]
