When you get the faceplate off to clean and lube it, be prepared with some patience for putting it back together.
Getting the arm that lifts the needlebar to connect with the knob that powers it is a bit of a head scratcher. haven't found a way to suggest yet.

Thanks fer the great help. It came mounted to the cabinet top with no drawers and settin on a White treadle frame. They don't work well together cause the treadle wheel does not line up with the machine. Also the head will not lower cause it hits the treadle wheel.

Is there any way to know it's birthday? Is ebay gonna be my best bet fer accessories?

No birthdays like Singer just an estimate from old warranty paperwork. Sn# 2583196 was made in 1913 or 1914.
