Jeanne, what a pity there was not a place on the Quiltville site that could accommodate your very helpful photos. Nice clear, great tips for what to do. Bonnie could use a lesson from you for how to explain what to do! Thank you for your kindness.

Finished with clue #1! I think I still have a good chance of finishing clue #2 on time, as I have everything cut and the practice unit went well.

Got clue 2 finished, thanks to everyone for help with my magenta choice. The one I ended up with was not the popular choice but your opinions helped.

I love the magenta you chose QV; it looks so bold and rich. Next year I need to bite the bullet and get bolder with my neutrals.
