I love your garage sale find. I can't remember where I heard it or read it, maybe it was from Barbara Brackman or from the appraisor that spoke to our guild, but officially a quilt is dated from the most recent fabric that appears in it. I'm no expert, that's just a trivial fact that stuck in my brain.

I love your quilting. Stunning!

I think the fabrics are from the 40's.
