    I'm with Chasing Hawk--I never put water in my iron. I use a spray bottle so I never have a problem with leaking. That seems to be a problem every iron has--unless they catch fire. Had that happen once and that was enough.!!!

    I have had my Rowenta for over 4 years and never had a problem. It has great steam generation. I did have 2 of the rowenta travel irons (made in China) and they were both bad. The handle on the first one broke and the second one just died after a few months.
