Leta, you are a clever woman and I like the way you think!! Hugs and smiles to all our UFOers for 2016, and I know I'll be seeing many of you again in 2017!

I won't have any more UFO finishes this year either, just wanted to congratulate everyone and pass around high fives and well dones!!!

Special thanks, extra high five and well dones to Janice for being such an outstanding engineer of this UFO train. Looking to riding along with you again next year Janice!!

My probable last post for this year is not a UFO, but this comfort quilt I just finished which is what is helping keep me out of my UFOs. I am very very pleased with the way this quilt finished and I love the jewel tone colors, so I just wanted to share it with my UFO friends.

Mad Quilter, so sorry about your accident! It sounds as though you just dealt with it yourself? Yikes. I hope it heals quickly; I've heard that finger tips are about the quickest thing to heal on our bodies, and I hope that proves true.

SheriR, congratulations on your Orca Bay!

Toot, toot, Sheri for your two UFO finishes. Congratulations!

I don't know if it counts. I also finished one for another daughter. I bought the panel last year but the boy she was dating was .... just a boy. Now he's her husband and qualifies for a quilt. You decide if it qualifies as a 2016 finish!

Madquilter-I hope your finger gets better soon. Ouch.

Cannyquilter-Congrats on the 6 finishes. I cannot wait to see pictures.

Sheri R- Your Orca Bay looks fantastic. I wanted to try Baptist Fans on my last quilt, but chickened out. It is on my to do list for 2017. Yours turned out great. I also like the Moose quilt alot. Did your son-in-law like it?

wildyard-beautiful Angel quilt. Your borders are very cool. I am sure the recipient will be very comforted by your gift.

Martina I hope the finger heals quickly. I'm wincing for you as two years ago I sliced a portion off of my index finger with the rotary cutter.

The finishes are so lovely. Wish I could finish another by the end of the year but highly doubtful. They'll be there for next year I guess.

Janice, my Irish Chain Black/Gray/White/Pink Baby quilt is a UFO finish. It sat as a flimsy about 11 months before I quilted & bound it. I got stuck.

I also finished two western boot stockings I cut the pieces last year but did not have time to work on them Tried to do to much last Christmas. I found the cut pieces while cleaning just before Christmas and put them together. I forgot to get pictures before I gifted them so I asked my nephew to take some and will share if he remembers before he puts them away for next year.

Altairess, I love the dog bone christmas stocking, that is so cute. I also bet it feels good to get a UFO done that has been a thorn in your side. I truly believe this is how projects become UFO. They are projects we struggle with and get tired of so we just put them aside and started something new.
