The train is leaving and I am taking a ride for this mystery. I have stepped outside my comfort zone (make that control) and picked fabric. The dark is actually a dark purple.

Thanks, Judy, for the feedback on the darks. The other fabrics are the same in both pics. :-
Kassaundra, the second photo's dark is my favorite, too! Wish I had more of it!
Just Jan, I like the dark blue best, but then I go for strong colors.
Everyone's choices are delightful. Can hardly wait to see what Judy has in store for us! Some fried green tomatoes are in the club car. Get 'me while they're hot! Yummy!

I subbed out the green for the orange since Judy said the yellow and orange were too close in value. I thought they looked fine in that the orange was bright, but "mother knows best". The yellow is not quite as bright gold as the pic shows.

It looks like Barb in Louisiana and I have the same fabric. I wanted to use batiks but I don't have enough large pieces. Here are my color combos.

jmoore well, you know I am going to give you a thumbs up on your fabric!

Belfry your colors look great together

Barb those colors look great -- am I am all for those who leave their comfort (as you call it control) zone -- you go girl!

Klaws beautiful!

I cannolt believe that twice in the same mystery, two people are using the same fabrics. And with that lovely floral in different positions, these quilts will look absolutely completely different!

Going to have some beauties on this train ride. Everything look wonderful.

Great looking fabrics.
Klaws & Barb - I have that same floral and have used it in several table runners and a quilt. I'll be sad when its all gone.

Judy, I pick A, I love reds! I imagine you are going to go with D! I am a little late getting on board, the weather here has been making life a little difficult! I have a good friend who lives in Montana who has it really cold, but I don't live in Montana, I am used to Oregon winters being a little milder than they have been!

I will be making a baby quilt and the baby's gender will not be announced until Tuesday, So I think I might make two. I always need a baby quilt, or I can donate it I am sure! So off I go shopping for some fabric. I think I want to make mine out of flannel, the cold weather makes me love working with Flannel.

By the way I love looking at all the fabric choices you have picked! Such great combinations!

Tomara, this is a neat thread - whatever PaintmeJudy comes up with is great. It's fun to just ride along and see how the mystery will turn out. Have been in almost all of her mysteries.
