Marietta great block for TG I think this is what she's looking for. I finished hers, but am making a second one so she can choose because I don't think I quite got what she was looking for.

The block looks great, Marietta! It reads as a pink, just like it was supposed to. That's going to be a fun quilt.

Oh, the baby chicks are so cute! So Kass, they are born with pinfeathers and then they fall out? Is that how naked chickens work? And do you haul the chickens back and forth between your two homes?

No they are only carriers since the father is fully scaleless, but the mother's either were not or just carriers. (and if they were just carriers they didn't pass the scaleless gene) they need both scaleless genes to be naked.

Interesting. Never knew such chickens existed.

I love the baby pics! Jaba...thanks for the block. My fabric is pretty unexciting in terms of color...just soft. The quilt is for my BFF who doesn't like anything bright.( definitely not my style). So,I have completed everyone's blocks, and e- mailed photos to our fearless leader. She posts for me,as my I-pad photos take up too many giggle thingys. Now,on to making another duvet cover for a DGS. Cheers!

I stayed up late and made some blocks!

The first is a pinwheel for MollyMunchkin. I got the package with blue and only a teeny piece of the stripe! I managed to use every bit of that stripe, tho. Hope you like it.

Next is Billi's cats on couches. I did a churn dash but tried to preserve as many cats as possible... so it's a very wide churn dash! Hope it works for you.

And then Ibex's... I must admit I was totally stumped by the "sweet fairy" concept and how to translate that into a block, without using fairies. This butterfly could be a sweet friend for your fairies, and most little girls love butterflies, so I hope this works for your concept.

Well I worked with another fabric I didn't want to cut up today. Marrieta here is the one I made for you. That grey fabric is one of my favorites but it didn't play well with any of my other fabrics. It plays well with yours. Hope you like the block.

What a beautiful block! Home run on this one! I agree, the gray works.

Those little chicks are so cute! the "wheel" block looks awesome Kass. I am totally stumped on Ibex's fabric, but I sure look at it everyday and hope something comes to mind soon
Quit sewing yesterday to spend watching the Super Bowl with my little Myla. She makes me so happy, growing fast and 6 months old already. I'm really going to miss her when we go back to Wyoming for the summer.
