I read the pattern last night ... it sounds complicated LOL But since I've already done the double wedding ring, I'm not too concerned!

Patti was amazing For those of you that get to see her in person you are definitely blessed!

Now I have to figure out how to lay out my reds LOL

Everything I need to make this quilt I have safely tucked away in a drawer. I immediately fell in love when I came across the pattern for the first time! I've never made a Judy Neimeyer quilt so I must admit I'm a bit intimidated. I too will be subscribing to this thread to watch your progress on what will surely be a gorgeous quilt!

I'm trying to decide if I go from light to dark / dark to light or have dark in the middle and medium to light to the "squares" the squares will be black.

so this option has the "darker" fabrics in the middle

And this option has the darker ones at one end

Which one do you all think would look best?

    Thanks!

Just had Patti help me "do some damage" yesterday, buying red, blue and white fabric to make a patriotic quilt. Couldn't decide on fourth fabric and ,yup,Patti found the perfect choice. When you find someone who you trust and offers good advice, be it a doctor or a LQS person, you have found a treasure. Mt. Pleasant is truly a destination shop located in the heart of farm land south of Rochester, NY. My car knows the way.
Looking forward to seeing the final product.
PS. This shop is Judy Neidemeirer certified, so any advice is well founded!!!!

Love the fabrics! I like the first option, with the darker in the middle.
