We have a black kitty that we call "Nekochan". Neko is the Japanese word for cat and chan, added on, means something like "baby cat"----so----Our cat's name is Kitten, in Japanese. (Really original---I know.)
For any dog lovers out there, Japanese for dog is "Inu" so I guess a puppy would be "Inu-chan".

Nice quilt!

I love Asian prints and obviously love cats. The fabrics in this quilt are exquisite.

oh my gosh so cute and whimsical! I love Asian fabrics but honestly have never seen any with cats, this is delightful
