My head is full of them. My UFO pile is full of them! As I am working on one of the designs from my head numerous others are swirling around in my head. Some I will make, some I have no idea how to piece in fabric.

My first response is "too many" but in reality about 10 - 12. If I put a quilt on my to-do list and I forget about it, then I just let it go. I assume I was not passionate about making it or taking on the challenge. My family keeps having babies and anniversaries! and each baby gets a quilt. I also try to make one quilt for an adult family member each year until all (children and nieces and nephews) have their own. Then there are special folks, donation quilts and this year my colleagues. I am due for one top a month for this year. We will see If I make it. Working full time does cut into my quilting time!

I am 77 years old and I will never live that long. I have so many planned, I am working on baby quilts for great grands that are still in the oven.

Far too many. I have labels on bundles of fabric to remind me of the project I want to use them for. I also have a pinterest board so I can browse and think about what I want to do next. I generally keep one or two projects going in my head that I absolutely obsess about.

I am so happy to read all of these responses. I thought my pile of ufo's was my unique inability to finish a project before starting the next 10! I have made tops that aren't quilted because I need to improve my long arm skills before tackling them. But I am determined to finish 3 to each one I start this year! My list of "want to do" is too many to count as well. I blame Pinterest!

I call them "brain bunnies" because they multiply so quickly!
