    Default Batting

I am not smart enough to search! Any recommendations for an economical purchase for rolls of batting?

for our charity quilts, Walmart has rolls and will deliver to stores for pickup. https://www.walmart.com/c/kp/quilt-b...ort=price_high They even sell Warm and Natural which surprised me.

    Batt-Mart, Joanne's, Walmart, Amazon
joannes you can sometimes use a coupon for, getting a good price. I'm an Amazon prime member so get free shipping from there, Batt-Mart has a large selection of many different brands, types, and sizes with good prices. I've not ordered from Walmart but know some people do.

I ordered my last two rolls of Soft & Bright from Wal-Mart and they both came with free shipping, had them on my doorstep within a few days. I watch Amazon and Joanns too, both can have good deals on rolls. Joanns however never has free shipping

I have purchased 2 rolls from a local long arm quilter. She purchases for her business so she just ordered an extra roll for me.

I buy both Hobbs 80/20 and polyester batting in rolls from Marshall's Dry Goods. Definitely the best price! They have many different weights (thicknesses) of the poly battings, but they are so "puffy" I buy the thinnest one they have. I think it's 5 oz. And it's still plenty puffy. I use that for charity quilting because its so economical, but my favorite for personal quilts is the 80/20. It's a dream to machine quilt!

That's great MadQuilter, my JAF will not honor the 50% off coupons on large batting rolls. That was the word from the store manager and they are always so insanely crowded anyhow so I just gave up except for the occasional website check. That's great that your store will still take them!
