    GOD bless you for what you have done. Your quilts are just lovely. I have made many preemie quilt tops for one of our board members and thoroughly enjoyed the project. When I have scrap pieces or am in between projects I try to make a few. I love to piece the tops. Someone else does the quilting.

    I have seriously considered making preemie quilts after my daughter was a NICU nurse for 15 or 20 years, but those babies are so fragile and vary in size so often it is hard to judge what might be needed. I suppose if one is making the quilts for burial, that would be different. I tried making French hand sewn dresses and bonnets, but that was hard too. One lady I was friends with did the crochet and knit hats, but those rarely fit the tiny heads. Sad in any case.

    the preemie quilts are for the parents to wrap their baby in to take home and be a keepsake
