Lovely fabric! I think I'd make a pieced top using the colors and use the print as a backing. Or a wide border around the blocks. It would be hard for me to cut that up.

It seems that there are several of the same picture sp I would fussy cut and use Attic Windows. I just saw an AW pattern where the windows were all different sizes -- some large, some small, some wide, some narrow. It would fit your fabric but would not use up the full 5 yards. Using the whole piece it would make a great throw for back of sofa, etc. I love the fabric. It reminds me of something showing the Lion laying down with the lamb -- a peacefull kingdom.

I agree with everyone about fussy cutting and get as many pics of the animals as you can and maybe make an attic window pattern. By the way-love your fabric.

I would use a window pane effect with narrow strips of black spaced apart to show as much and as many animals as possible....in fact I would sew the strips on the top (maybe????) with sewing the strips on both edges In black.

How many yards did you buy of this fabric? You will lose quite a bit of fabric if you fussy cut. I made a throw for my husband out of similar fabric and I cut out 8" squares of the fabric and mixed them with 8" log cabin squares of complimentary colors to make rows. I then divided the rows with 2" strips of fabric that matched the background of the printed fabric. My husband covers up with this when he is in his recliner and it came out very pretty.

Check out the link that summitbay posted. I think that one would work well but otherwise I'd simply use it as a panel and border it out with whatever you like. I don't think this lends itself well to fussy cutting. There was one posted a few days ago --scrappy prairie queen quilt--that I liked how they created the sashing for that one. When you begin cutting this yardage into pieces, you'll lose some of the "cute". MHO
