The baby animal quilt could not be more wonderful! It is worth all of the time that it took and will be used and then treasured. The quilting is just perfect for the subject of the quilt. The second quilt is also very pretty and will be fun to use. Great combination and great projects from a loving grandma. Today, I am finishing a wedding quilt for my first grandson's upcoming wedding. It seems like such a short time ago that I was making that first baby quilt. Time flies.

Ahh! What we will do for our children, huh? I have looked at that pattern and have prayed my kids won't see it! I made a "Simply Woven" for an auction and thought it was fun to do. Love your quilts!

I have the larger Fancy Forest kit and have made 4 of the 8 owls so far. It is good practice in careful piecing, but the directions are wonderful. Unfortunately I got side-tracked with chemo and have to wait for my "chemo fog" to lift before I resume something so challenging, for me. LOVE, LOVE your woodgrain quilting !!!! I have a baby quilt to make for July so may try the woven baby quilt as a fun modern twist.

The owls are the hardest! The rest are quite a bit easier, so the worst is almost over.
