Reference to #47 and to "the recipient is very happy". Was this a commissioned work? If so, I am sad and happy for you to make this beautiful quilt and hand it off to another. Happy for the recipient and her "approval" of your talent, yet sad that it is leaving your hands. What a dilemma!!!!

Breathtaking. Is that all hand quilted? I can't imagine getting a machine to do those tiny parts. Course, I can't imagine ME doing any of it by hand or machine. You are amazing!!
