    In my opinion, the thin white strip in there really made it pop. Like sewbizgirl, I think it gives it a 3-D effect. That is the prettiest one.

    I was going to suggest this. Check out the quick strippie quilt @ www.Maryquilts.com

    I think the second accent under the brown balances everything out.
    I have made this pattern a few times and I like it very much... then there are times that I start with that in mind and then change it up trying to find something that I think goes better

    This print with the stripes of the other colours, has been screaming Warm Wishes to me. A little more work but also much more interesting in my opinion. I think I would use tan, brown, tan for the striped blocks.

    I also prefer the last choice. White border cleanly frames the inner strips.
