I think you should make the triangle quilt, but really you cannot go wrong. I am 100% sure she will love it when it is finished (and I look forward to seeing it)! ~smile~

I would go with a black or a very dark grey. Fabulous collection of fabrics and colors.

Thank you everybody for your replies. Gee, I love this forum!

Another choice. The fabrics look so well side by side that I thought of doing a simple block quilt with no sashing or background.

What do you think?

Yes they do. Plus that gives you GREAT background for some fancy FMQ.

IMHO White would be to stark and take away rather than add. I would try to find a dove gray or silver.

A navy or other dark blue might work, depending on her color preferences.
