Giving the quilt to either a family or friend and seeing their faces. It is the most fun. I have to say I enjoy quilting and really relax while doing it.

there's not much I can honestly say is my most fun part because I pretty much like all aspects about quilt making...ohhhh....maybe not so on selecting color coordination....I always have a hard time with that....but once the quilt is done I really like using it for the first time!!!! (I've only made about 15 total and 6 were LCs....lol)

Different days I like (or dislike) different things. Most of the time my favourite part is designing and choosing colours, although that can lose it's appeal if I'm not having luck finding a colour scheme that I like. Sometimes I really enjoy the precision of cutting, but sometimes it seems like OCD drudgery.

I wonder if people that really enjoy finishing have fewer UFO's than people that have the most fun in the planning stages?

I like the "seeing" quilts--in books, magazines, blogs, on our quilting board, going to quilt shows.

I also like the "giving" to my granddaughters.

I love the hand sewing on of the binding. I have such a sense of accomplishment and it gives me time to be still and focus on all to the things it took making the quilt and what I may do with it!!
