Thanks, Connie, checked the Bundles of Love website...actually one relatively close to home...I've donated to my local church sewing circle as well.

Oksewglad: I am glad there is a group close by you. I get my scraps from my local church group and the New Brighton Bundles of Love group so I can't donate back to them except with quilt tops. Lol!

I read the reply and looked where you were located, and darn near spit water on my screen, having lived 15 years in Dakota County . . .

those look like the shelving components Menards sells, the uprights come in a few different lengths and have predrilled holes on both sides. then you can buy the shelves separately and cut them if you need them a different length. I've used them in a few places where a prebuilt shelf would not fit.

Macybaby: lol! I'm glad you didn't get your screen wet!

I was trying to avoid cutting any lengths so I didn't look closely at what my local Menards had for my needs. It's a smaller store so I might go to a larger one.

Thanks for the additional info.

I don't know what I'm doing is called organizing. I posted a statement, a while back. Some of you's may know I'm going to have 20 of my quilts on display, at the Kalona Museum, in Kalona, Ia. This July thru Nov. I'm gathering/organizing my quilts together now.

Congratulations, isewman! And yes it sounds to me like you're in the middle of a big organizing job. Do you get to pick which quilts are going to be shown, or are the Museum staff going to help with that?

It seems to me that I'm always moving and organizing my sewing room. I bought more contains to organize my sewing things again. I think I should give away all I have and start with new. I won't do that but a great thought.

I keep threatening to do that for the entire house--1 big dumpster and a conveyor belt to send things out the windows directly into the dumpster LOL--
