Very nice quilt. It is odd how the colors and the fabric placement make each block look so different. Good job.

May I ask how you use your stencils? Do you trace them on the quilt with some sort of "marker" or do you draw them on paper and stitch over that or ??? Your quilting and choice of stencil really add to this quilt.

I have been tracing them on with a blue disappearing pen. I think it might be the clover brand. I have in the past drawn designs on tracing paper and stitched over that with great success as well. Believe it or not the wreath pattern is much easier than it looks:-) I hope some day to be able to do this free hand, but I'm not there yet :-)

I am not a fan of civil war fabrics......But....... your quilt is absolutely gorgeous. Love the gray background.
