Saw a pattern the other day that was in black and white. It would look good in fall colors. It is call Lug Nuts. Just google Lug Nuts Quilt Pattern. It is a large hexi type quilt, but being that the hexi's are so large, it could be put together on the machine instead of by hand.

thanks for the ideas. most pieces are 1/2 to a yard some more. Never really had a lot to work with, i'll have to figure this one out, and all those fat quarters.

What a wonderful windfall. Lots of great ideas, and it will sure help not having to spend $$ on fabric. Also, it may give you an opportunity to pass a little forward. Happy for you!!

I know you do a lot of hand quilting, but for batik, I'd use the machine because it is more tightly woven. I really like the stained glass effect with batiks. Or the over and under quilt, which is so easy.

You could make a fall bed runner.

Congratulations Lynnie! I bet that was a huge surprise. Just do searching for patterns & the right one will jump out at you. Can't wait to see what you make from them.

Lynnie, join in on the next runner swap on here. We finish up the recent one the end of this month and hopefully start a new one after. Or you already have my address........ These colors would make nice Christmas gifts as a lot of people use greens and browns in there homes. So you can make runners and toppers and lap quilts placemats etc. for Christmas gifts. I repainted my living room just last week and it happens to be a medium brown hint hint. lol Hope you post a picture of whatever you make. Purses would be good too. Have a good weekend. Lucky girl.
