It's hard for me to narrow it down to a list. My husband has a music server to which we downloaded all our CD's, so that they are on the computer and I can pull up anything I want. My musical tastes are kind of eclectic, so my "playlist" can change many times. It all depends on what I am in the mood for...but I like soundtracks from musicals, the Kingston Trio, Billy Joel, the list goes on!

I told a friend I wanted a "Sewing Room Playlist".

She suggested I Fall To Pieces by Patsy and Crazy Train by Ozzy because they fit the hobby.

    What are your suggestions?
Everything from the 50's - right through to the 90's.

I have Pandora on my Iphone, and when I want to have a peaceful afternoon, I put it on my chosen music. I asked a long time ago to have Jim Reeves and his type of music. Love it.

I know, I know, I'm the original scrooge. Just give me 'the sound of silence' so I can throw open the windows and doors and hear the birds, sound of cars humming along the street, occasional dark barking, insects buzzing, flowers growing ...(okay, went a little crazy on THAT one) but, you get the picture!

I usually put the radio on the Christian station here. My taste in music is quite eclectic though. I like everything from Classical to some metal. Though I am choosy if that makes sense...

I have a Sony CD player that holds 300+ cds. I have everything from Pavarotti, Alabama, Brad Paisley, Stephen Curtis Chapman, Kenny Rogers, and on, and on!! Love all kinds of music and am especially enamored by Adele at the present time. Can't imagine being in my sewing room without my music!! First thing I cut on and last thing I cut off. Part of the experience for sure!

More often than music, podcasts are what I put on. I like Pat Sloan on American Patchwork and Quilting, also Modern Sewciety, and whatever topic I'm in the mood for. Comedy on Youtube--Tim Hawkins, Jim Gaffigan, John Melaney, Mike Berbiglia, Nate Bargatze, and many others.

Musically, my tastes run the gamut. Billy Joel, Motown,Beach Boys, Rich Mullins, musical soundtracks, hymns, classical, pop, country (in small doses).

Old time rock and roll, Elvis, soundtracks from Mama Mia, Sleepless in Seattle, and You've Got Mail. Toby Keith, Keith Urban. Hallmark station on tv and I listen to the movies but don't watch the picture.
