I cant recall who right now, but this lady "makes" quilts for movies. The quilts are then made to look "old" for the movie. She is on strict deadlines to get one done in time for whatever movie it is to go in. I don't know that I would like to make a quilt to have it immediately "aged". On the other hand, it is like saying one of the standin's in the crowd is your cousin. :-0

How about Empire Falls. A great plaid quilt over the back of a couch.

Stepmom Susan Sarandon makes a memory quilt for her daughter.

Where is the quilt in You've Got Mail? Was it on Meg Ryan's bed?

When Meg has a bad cold and Tom settles her into bed.

My all time favorite movie with Cary Grant "Friendly Persuasion". I have seen quilts in TV shows like Friends and Big Bang Theory.

1943, Air Raid Wardens with Laurel and Hardy. It was on their bed. The pattern was so unusual, I still haven't found out what it was.

I love this thread! I can't name any movies right off hand...but I always shout out when I see a pieced quilt in a movie or TV show! I got my husband doing it now, too!

I just saw one last week in a movie but don't recall the name or even what the movie was about!
