If it was a problem for that store then it would be corrected fast. Don't fret over it.

You might want to go back and check with them to see if maybe it was a mistake on their end. I understand wanting to be honest and I commend you on it. You don't see that much these days it seems.

I don't have Catholic guilt but I do have Baptist guilt! I think it's pretty much the same thing. However I think Joann's cash register are programmed to comply with the terms of the coupons.

You could at least call first before you make the trip. Honesty is always the best policy, no matter what your religion! Mistakes like this are one reason why prices go up for everyone. I couldn't live with myself if I didn't try to fix it.

Life is too short to worry about a few dollars. They have overcharged me before and I let it go... not worth the trip back to the store.

So what die did you get?

Thanks ladies. I was feeling a little better last night when I went to bed and then it woke me up. Can't help it. So I called JF this morning and spoke with an asst. mgr. She was very blase' about it and said, well....I wouldn't worry about it.

So if the Asst. Mgr didn't care, now I don't either, and am pleased as punch. Whew. LOL

Sewbiz, I got the 5" square die, so I can cut my squares for the swaps on this board faster (and not worry about that dang ruler slipping on me at the very end of the cut!). It cuts 2 at a time. So if I fold the material, I can get a pile all at once. Weeeee! Guess what I'm doing this weekend!

Sometimes it is included in the sales. The SKU numbers would have been excluded in the system if it wasn't eligible for the sale (this is the same way that it knows how to apply a coupon to the highest priced eligible item without you having to separate out the items). So, be happy you took your mom and got a special deal!!

The 40% off coupon and the 20% off total is correct. I have done that often, always a bonus.

Excluding items off the discounts is not the consumer's job. Enjoy your sale.
