You have done a wonderful job for your first pp block - and a difficult block too. Great choice of fabrics.

I'm an avid pp'er and I line up my joins and hit them with a touch of glue to stop them shifting as I get them through the machine.

You can adjust where the points meet but it's very pretty

I have brain freeze when it comes to PP'ing. Your block looks pretty good to me. I love how the colors really work together...very effective.

It's a lovely block. Joining those bulky seams is a challenge, but with lots of patience and pins, those will be as straight and sharp as your piecing. Keep at it, this is a great start.

That's beautiful and what a great choice of fabrics you made!
Peggy Martin has a method for getting the seams to line up she calls the Three P's. Pinch/Peek/Pin.
Pinch the seams together so they line up perfectly. Peek at them to make sure by holding them together with your fingers and opening up the seam to be sure they are perfectly lined up, then pin through the 1/4" mark. This works well for me.
I think your block looks great and after it is quilted no one will notice a tiny bit her or there.

Would you share the name/link to the block?
