Seven days after surgery and she was ready for a shower. That says to me a patient is getting better! We had a few hiccups today but laundry is close by so no problem. We've watched 1/2 dozen movies in 3 days!

I miss my machine but happy I can be here to care for her. Glad she's not at home directing traffic & fending for herself. Thank you all for your thoughts & prayers❤️

Janice, I only have 2 left & they are started. I'll be ready to mail next week.

When you are finished with your blocks, come on over and join in the mug rug swap. We can always use more people! Thursday is the last day to sign up.

Package of Summer blocks in the mail. I thought I might keep the Autumn blocks and maybe have time to do some bonus blocks with them!

Hope you have fun, Karen. I was in the mug rug swaps for years, and have a pretty big stack of them from the swap. I just don't use them much... certainly don't need any more. I do enjoy seeing what all of you are creating, tho.

Sewbiz I only use a few of my mug rugs but have the rest displayed in my sewing room. They hang on mini clotheslines

Another chapter in the saga of my week in Cleveland. This is better than the door key.

I miss my toaster. They have one in the hospitality area but you can only use it from 7am-9am. We are in a suite so we have a fridge, microwave & a dishwasher, coffeemaker. But no toaster. Ok, so I ran to Goodwill to pick up a toaster. One is all they had, it looked very clean & acceptable. Ok, so it wasn't the only thing I bought. But a victory none the less. I can have a toasted English muffin whenever I want.

Back at the room, I declare my find!

Then, I just happen to see a drawer I hadn't looked in yet. Oh WOW, what to my wandering eyes doth appear, but a toaster. In the one place I haven't investigated in this room. On the up side I can now cook two English muffins at the same time! AAAACCCKKK!

I hope Goodwill of Ohio does refunds, I already have 2 toasters at home!

dear daughter is doing much better today. Thank you all for your support!
