Looking for a Maine pattern?
Hello
I am looking for a Maine themed wall hanging pattern. I haven't been able to find one that includes the following ... bear, moose, lupine (flower), lake, lobster, skiing, Portland Lighthouse, canoe.
It doesn't have to have all of these. A majority would be good.
Thank you in advance
Erin.

I have researched individual blocks when I am looking for something. Say you wanted something Halloween. Each one could be looked up by itself and then you could put them together how you want.
The puppy and the bathtub were two different drawings that I found online. (the towel rack I drew myself)
The pumpkin was from my Halloween decorations, the apples were a picture I found.
I realize that mine are machine applique and you are probably looking for regular blocks, but I am sure you will find something that will call to you.
Good luck!

Thanks so much midwife. I learned from a lady in Fort Smith, AR. I love doing that.
GoBragh, I also saw a quilt here on the board by francie yuhas. She calls it her Alaska quilt, but a lot of the same themes apply. Here post was on 9/25/17.

I was also going to suggest expanding your search terms to include Alaskan and Canadian-themed quilts.
You might also check out McKenna Ryan's patterns. She has a series you can view here: https://www.pineneedles.com/Northwoods-s/1901.htm
Her quilts and patterns are exquisite. The good thing about them is you can pick and choose which block(s) to purchase, instead of having to buy the entire quilt. This means you can buy a bear block from one quilt, a moose block from another quilt, etc.
