Thank you, everyone, for looking. I am having fun! It is good to hear that not everyone sits down with a firm recipe for a quilt. I sat down thinking it would be a giraffe in the center with some simple strips and blocks surrounding it. It took on a life of its own. I think I'd do a few things differently looking at it finished. Cathyvv, I'm curious. Are patterns and contrasts more noticeable to you? Sometimes I get lost in colors.

Sorry to be a spoil sport, it looks like some of the blocks are sewn on wrong side out. The ones down from your left hand.
    Very pretty.

Very colorful. Quilting is addicting and you'll be making more cute quilts. When I started, I made very simple quilt patterns, and watched many YouTube videos. Missouri Star Quilting Co has many great videos. You will want to make them all. Have fun!!

Thank you, Jingle. It does look like it. It's the odd effect of the light from the window.

Super sweet, love the colour combinations. I start with an idea, but then my quilts just 'evolve' I very rarely follow a pattern slavishly.

It's great! You balanced it out so well. Sometimes the plans made 'on the fly' turn out just as good as any other.
