Now - if they would just get their own hotel or motel or B&B. It's on my bucket list to do.

Wallace State Park is beautiful and just down the road from Hamilton in a very woody area. We’ve stayed there 2-3 times and it’s very private but also fills up quickly on weekends. Make a reservation.

We were just there with our camper late September, right after their birthday bash. Great place. We drove from Kansas City and spent the next night in Hannibal, MO. (The Hannibal of Tom, Huck and Becky fame) Hannibal is a very charming town on the Mississippi, has several museums and at least two quilt shops.

Rumor is: Land was purchased by Hiway 36 for a motel. And a second small rv park is in the works.

Great news for RV owners. I prefer a hotel/motel, hopefully one will be built soon!

This is great news. Now we can go back and not drive to a motel and the hubby can go take a nap when he wants, although they have a great man cave for the guys now!
