Did everyone read on Facebook, one of our BHMQ ladies will have a double mastectomy on Tues. She already had the fabrics lined up. There were over 100 prayers sent her way in the first 10 minutes of her posting that. I feel so badly for her. She said she will watch what others will be doing. Look on Quiltville Mystery Blog.

Her name is Anita Haskin LaFont. I do not know where she is from. The best suggestion was for a place calleld Knitted Knockers, for a prothetic.

That's sad news, Marcia. I hope Ms. Anita does well. Adding my prayers for her.

Oh my, BattleAxe, that is hard indeed. Thanks for letting us know so that we too can think of Anita and pray for her.

I'm sorry to hear about the BHMQ lady with cancer. I'll add my prayers to every one else's.

Does anyone have the actual URL for the Facebook group? I've tried searching several times for such a group and keep getting redirected to the Quiltville blog. Several mentions of a Facebook group have been made each year, we do the BH mystery but I can never find the group.

As a newer quilter attempting my 1st mystery (and only 3rd quilt ever!) I am looking for honest feedback on the fabrics I've gathered so far.. I wish to stick with batiks and actually like BH's color combination. To my eye the middle orange fabric might be too pinkish? I'm happy to go to my LQS to replace any that don't deserve their spot on my quilt Thank you in advance.
I think your batik selections are gorgeous! I am sooooo undecided....i want to do this quilt from my stash, but I have zero peach/coral....and turquoiseis few and far between.

I'm back again this year for another of Bonnie's mystery quilts. Just spent a lot of time going through the shelves trying to find fabrics that play well together. This year's colors are not something I have very much of in my stash. But I'll start with these and hope for the best.

I think I'm done with my fabrics now! I added a few more corals (from a trip into a 'big' city) and trimmed down the neutrals. I decided to keep the neutrals to low volumes without alot of pattern on them.
