Your fabric would be very pretty used in a quilt called “convergence”. Also Nancy Zeiman (RIP) has aseveral shows for making quilts using hombres that are lovely. I have several I cannot cut too. I will find them tomorrow to post them.

I saw that book, but it didn't help. I still can't cut up 3 pieces that I've been saving, but PPs link might be the answer. Thanks PP.

The craftsman pattern is somewhat I was going to suggest. Use those beautiful pieces as “panels” and do something otherwise as borders. If you can’t bear to cut into a piece, use it whole!

Guess I am not the only one that collects pretty fabric. I have so many that I won't cut. i am sure they would be pretty in a quilt but not going to take the chance

This past Summer I started a Tote, got the majority of the pieces cut came down to the last fabric which still lays draped over the railing after ironing. It's nothing special, just a teal blender, just something I think is Gorgeous!
I Had lunch with my quilting longtime GF and quilting mentor explained my "hump", she sweetly offered me some different fabric which I did decline citing one day I would get passed this hump.
I have coordinating fabrics, maybe 2 or 3... Which I could easily one of the fabrics in another project but I refuse to separate from the other. Come to think... I really do have several fabrics that I adore and seem to think I need to keep "safe".

Of course I do!

Sometimes I make a table scarf with them ... a large square ... and drape it over a round side table ... so that I can enjoy it whenever I walk by ... If the fabric doesn't match my decor, sometimes I put it on a table outside my back door (out of the sun so it doesn't fade).

Actually, the one you show I would be tempted to use as the background for an applique something ...

Wow! That is a great pattern! I also have several pieces of fabric I hate to cut and a couple of panels and this pattern is perfect. I just ordered one.

Thank you for posting it.

I love this pattern. I've been looking for something that I could use for my son's QOV quilt and I think this is it. Thanks so much.

I agree it would make a good Convergence quilt. I have several piles of fabric I am having a hard time cutting. I also have some hand marbled squares I just can't seem to use. I actually got them out to use several times and put them back for something special.
I had a layer cake of grunge fabric. Not sure why it was so special. I could get tons more of it. I pulled it out to use for a quilt for my grandson. I put it back away as it was special. I told myself if my GS wasn't a special project I don't know what is and used it.

It is so much easier to find ways to cut up someone else's special fabric than it is to find ways to cut your own isn't it.
