Yes, Susie Q - I don't care what people think anymore. Also, going through so many things in life, being older is wiser, more experienced, and having more wisdom. Senior discounts are nice too. When you are blessed to retire, it's a huge blessing. Being older is getting to be a grandparent for the first time which will be happening to me soon!

I have really enjoyed getting older. Fabulous fifties, sexy sixties.... Turning 70 was a little tough but I am so past that now and enjoy every day, not going to work. Not caring about the weather. Don't have to go out unless I want to. I am grateful that I still feel fabulous and have a few guys that will take me out to dinner. So getting older has been great in many ways. As many have mentioned, not caring what others think. Course, never really did care that much about that anyhow. lol So I have been truly blessed. and then there are always those that have been denied getting older. So I am grateful......

This. As someone who has been "well-endowed" since age 14 or so, I don't miss the attention.

I, for one, would not mind a bit more sexual attention!

Many of us learn more medical terms and become aware of more medical specialists and clinics - so we have another topic of conversation.

All of the posts had great advice for us as we get older. Don't think we are ready for a lot of things, but it all comes anyway. We deal with it as it comes, which is just as well.
Thanks for lifting my spirits today, fellow quilters!
