I missed the last VQW so am eager to join this one. I am in the process of making folded star ornaments for little gifts based on a tutorial my guild held. They are so much fun to make! I'm also putting finishing touches on curtains for my sewing room. I'd like to make a last minute table runner if I can squeeze it in. (from the book Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas by Mary Hertel.) As if that isn't enough, I have a small Christmas embroidery I'd like to prepare for Christmas travel stitching.

I've got two finishes already! I pulled out these two tops I made from I Spy strips, to get them quilted and bound. I use a fluffy poly batting for charity quilts, and it doesn't need a lot of quilting, just a big stipple is fine. So they got finished fairly fast. Donating them at my meeting tomorrow morning.

Sewbizgirl, do you have a computer attached to the long arm? It would take me forever to get that much done.

I need 30 of these and I just finished the 20th one. It seems to take me forever. Then I need 20 the alternate block and my first one did not turn out. I need a different fabric where the two butt up to each other.

I want to re-organize my batiks. (so I can add some more).

Might finish up some small projects after that. Looking forward to seeing some nice pictures.

No computer, and guess what.... no long arm, either! I do those stipples freehand on my Juki2010Q. I love that little work horse! And I love my batting that doesn't require tight quilting and gives such a cozy feel.

Those blocks look familiar! I have some up on my design wall upstairs. I really need to get my Allietare done. I think I have all the blocks made, just have to join everything up.

Finished quilting a bed quilt for a close friend's granddaughter. Need to make and sew on the binding tomorrow. Then, it's on to quilting one for another friend. Will post pictures tomorrow.
