Red, so sorry to hear of your illness. Been there done that! Get plenty of rest, drink lots of water and lots of sleep.
I have a question. I used to get emails from a quilt shop. I can't remember the name so I thought that maybe someone here would know. I have ordered from them but it has been a long time. They sell only 1/2 jelly rolls of quality fabric. I have searched online but how can you find anything if you don't know the name of the shop!

sunrise, I have the same problem. I now know that I must make a rolodex of sorts for ordering online and all the quilt shops I visit. I have found some in old email sorted under a "Quilting" folder below my email inbox & since DH asked for all receipts to be kept, the ones I need to locate a lost shop are in that year's folder but I have to search for it, ugh = only if I am desparate to find them! Hope this helps!

the new house is in Florida and we are loving it already! Still have the house in Wyoming for now and don’t plan to sell it, but in a year or two you just never know.

Hi ladies
I am so happy to see the December birthday packages making it to the birthday girl on time.
This past week Michigan got hit with some snow. The first snow of the year always seems to put everyone in a panic. Not sure why we have snow every year and usually pretty often. We got about 7" which took all day, so it was actually really pretty. Well this snow day was a quilt day for my mom and I. We go to 2 quilt groups on Wednesdays at 10 am and the second at 6:30 pm. My mom was in a panic because there was snow! and how will we get to quilting??? and the night quilting was our Christmas party!
So I drove over to my mom's and we decided to do a "Snow-in, Sew-in Slumber Party" instead of going out in the snow. (remember I had to drive to her house ) The evening quilt Christmas party was canceled until next week. So we stayed in all day/night and wrapped presents, and did a lot of sewing! We had a great time and I feel very fortunate that I can do these things with my mom.
Good news!.......... I finally finished ALL of my quilt blocks from my packages that I got for my birthday. I have 31 ...6 x 6 squares from each package. Now I am planning on learning how to do "quilt as you go" for this project. I keep you all posted.
