Feline fanatic - I love your Scrappy Asian Log Cabin clamshell quilt. What is the pattern for this?

Mine is a double Irish chain. I made it for my in laws and they never used it. My sister in law told my dh that she had a pile of blankets to throw out. Dh checked out the pile and the quilt wasn't there. He did find it in another closet so he took it and we now have it on our bed

I have a sad tale to tell. I have no quilts on any of my beds. Yep, that's correct. I have a couple on my list to do for my beds but my name hasn't been pulled from the basket yet. All the people I want to make a quilt for has their name in this basket including mine so when I'm ready to make a quilt I pull out the basket and pull a name out. So far mine hasn't been pulled.........................Does anyone feel sorry for me yet???

This time of year we use a wool comforter, the warmest blanket ever! I pieced a duvet cover of boxed shirting stripes shown below.

I have lots of quilts made but most go to family members. Some are for me for different seasons but our little 5 lb. poodle sleeps between my DH and me and she loves to "fluff" before she settles down for the night and I am kinda selfish and not wanting her to tear up a quilt. But I always think that someday I will be able to display quilts on beds in our house.

No quilts on my bed. I use down duvets.

That does not stop me from making them though.

This is the only quilt I've made for our bed. It's just scraps sewn together with a black sashing.
