we worked all morning cleaning so we could decorate the house for Christmas--just finished and plopped down not moving! I did (while DH worked on tree lights which he's picky about) manage to finish the last bit on the customer quilt on the frame so no more customer stuff until after Christmas. hope that tomorrow I can start the quilting on my son's vest (luckily they won't be down until New year's weekend)and also putting together one of those complicated pre-cut fusible wallhangings. That may be a Valentine Day gift as it's pretty complex and I want to take my time on it. Oh--and still need to print the BH directions from yesterday. Does anyone wait until they get all the directions and then change up colors?

This is going to be an amazing quilt. The flannel on the back will be great for comfort. Praying the chemo will be sucessful.

But I do like wild combinations so I will keep watching. I have been working on the chemo quilt that I hope to finish this weekend if I have enough sashing fabric. Here is a photo, some of you may recognize the pattern train ride #7! That's how long part of this has been sitting around.
I'm only doing 4 large blocks in the center and then adding extra sashing on top and bottom to make it longer. I didn't have enough of the green to make it larger. The green fabric is about 18 years old and I can't match it. I'm just going to use a flannel sheet for the back and some wide stippling.

Watson, your quilt is stunning so far!

Got the tree all decorated, and all the decs out that I want to use this year. Whew! Tonight I'm finishing my On Ringo Lake clue 4, and who knows what I'll get into tomorrow.

I managed to get some straight quilting done on a baby quilt this afternoon, and hopefully will manage a picture late tomorrow after hiking with my Sis.
Thanks for all the pictures, really enjoy them.

Trisher: the pjs and dress are adorable. PJs look so soft and cozy.

Yesterday I got the tree set up (but no lights or decorations yet). It took all morning as it is 24 years old, and crooked. Plus we have a big dog so had to shim stand with cut up cardboard and tape whole thing to floor with packing tape LOL! Bubba (our 75 pound furball) kept trying to help which added at least an hour to the operation...

finished a trivet and continued pressing and trimming units from BH clue 3.

Today will be at barn playing with horses, may get some sewing time afterwards- or maybe put lights on tree...

Sew biz, What pattern did you use for your fleece hats? There are so many but am interested in what has been tried and is a good fit. TIA
