a quilt story

He was a uniquely gifted quilter. I saw the thread from years ago and was blown away...as I am with this quilt. So thoughtful of you to gift one of these special quilts. I'm sure she'll treasure it. And the heart in the snow? seriously precious.

Your DH was very creative and an exceptional quilter! Your story is heart lifting and yes I agree with you that it is better to give to someone who will appreciate the artistry and will love the workmanship.
I have given many of my quilts away and although there is no guarantee I always hope that the receivers will appreciate the loving hours put into making them.
The little paper heart was a touching sign and moment.

Your story was lovely as is the quilt. I wish I "was rich instead of just good looking" and I would buy one of those quilts in a heartbeat! They are a treasure. I am sorry you miss him so much but it is wonderful that you can spread joy and his gifts to other folks. Keep it up!
