Nancy, I don't know what its called or have a actual pattern, back in 2014 I was in the ornament swap on the board here. I received one from Anoka Quilter and figured it out by looking at it. Anoka should be able to get the real info to you, but what I did was cut 3 triangles (2 fabrics stacked right sides together) from a 4.5 strip of fabric. (60 deg ruler) sewed all around and left small opening to turn. First find center of unit. On one side sew all points together thread thru the middle to opposite side then stitch the center of the side to the center of this side. ( hope that makes sense?) I then slipped stitched the three units together. Then decorate as you want.
Better yet ask Anoka for the clear instructions.

Here's a link to a Christmas Tree Wall Hanging made out of those ornaments. I'm still trying to find a tutorial for you. https://www.bing.com/images/search?v...=47&ajaxhist=0
Okay, here's a You-Tube video tutorial on those ornaments.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXu6ILYwZh4

This is a 12 block pattern free from Quilted Memories LLC. And this is the best block so far. I only had to take it apart 3 times to get it right, but that is all my fault for getting it mixed up in my head. It's called Silent Night. All the blocks are still available. I"ll try to more them in here.

Qltnmom, that is a great summer quilt!
As suspected didn't get any more sewing done last night, we watched our (for us) Christmas movie, The desk set. It's a old Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn movie, I don't know why we always watch it every year during the holidays. I did get some knitting done while watching the movie so didn't totally engorge my projects. After church and a quick lunch I'm back to sewing! All blocks are together and in strips, just have to cut the sashing. An of course I will not have enough so will need to stop at the store tomorrow. I am going to border it in the purple on the inside 4 blocks and the pink on the outside borders. With a thin strip top and bottom in purple then another pink border top and bottom the get to the length I want.

Lets see how much I can do before I run out of fabric.

BattleAxe, thanks for sharing the link! I would love to save the pattern for a future Christmas quilt but I can't see anywhere where there is an option of downloading the instructions as a pfd. Is there a way to do that?

Well, I guess I'm done sewing for today. Time to switch to the scarf that needs to get finished this week.
Need to get 1/2 yard of the purple tomorrow and I figured that I should get 2 yards of the pink for the outside borders.

Came close to having enough, I know the purple is in stock but have to remember where I bought the pink.
Happy sewing to all. I will check in tomorrow!
Raggiemom thanks for the VQW
