My nephew and family live in Santa Barbara and were told to evacuate, been living in a hotel with 2 kids and 2 dogs for the last week and half. He said it wasn't so good down San Diego way either. Hopefully all is okay with her but that could be the reason you haven't heard anything yet. Will be so glad when these fires are done burning!
