The on-point setting sounds like a good idea. Our quilt guild has a fundraiser every year where folks donate 12" blocks for auction. I may incorporate this pineapple block into the center of a larger block. I don't know. Still gathering ideas.
Oh sew cute! A couple of things you could do. You could bind it, but be forewarned it's not easy...I have used double fold binding cut 1 1/2"...doable but need nimble fingers. How about setting it on point and make a mini medallion quilt with white HStriangles in the four corners. Do a narrow border around and bind it. Put hanging triangles on the with a small dowel between the triangles and hang in a small spot or even put it on your tree!

Oh, yes, would love to find out about that book!
Love your pineapple! I have gotten strung out on mini's lately and love making them! I have been giving them for gifts, and saving them to give as gifts when I need a quick gift. They come in handy! They look really cute with other blocks of different sizes or other minis.
I have a really great book of all mini patterns. Let me know if you need a lead on patterns.
Thanks for showing!
