The on-point setting sounds like a good idea. Our quilt guild has a fundraiser every year where folks donate 12" blocks for auction. I may incorporate this pineapple block into the center of a larger block. I don't know. Still gathering ideas.

I received a eye glass case that had a mini block. The maker pieced solid fabric around it and it was the center of attention. Sorry I don't have a photo.

Wow! Precision sewing! I would wear it as a pin. Perhaps you could add a border with your name on it for quilt guild days. The people at the guild meetings will understand your effort.
