Rosehawk,
Here is my "All Machines Denim Quilt" top. It's a queen size using denim scraps from my wife's projects. I used almost every machine we have to do either piecing or decorative stitching on it. From my 100+ year old Minnesota to our early 90s vintage Singer 4622a, most of the machines got a bit of a work out.
It took me over a year and a half to cut out, piece, decorate and assemble the top.
Here is a pic of the matching lap quilt top:
The backing is not on the big quilt yet as my health has been lousy the last year and a half and it will take us moving the 201-2 outside in the driveway with tables to put the back on and quilt it.
So, take your time and be careful with your seams and stitches and you'll get it done.

Hi Joe! I came across this thread while looking for info about replacement needles for my new little baby, a 1956 Singer 301a. I just wanted to mention to you that your denim quilt is absolutely awesome! TY for posting! I especially like the decorative stitching! #HardWorkPaysOff Those denim quilts are great.. their weight is so comforting.

Joe has a new home and is not seen around here very often, if at all. PM him, I'm sure he'd love the compliment. Or, you can usually find him at http://victoriansweatshop.com.
