Sandra, that looks great. Congrats on getting to the flimsy stage.

I finished sewing all my geese pieces together into units. The only unit I've not made so far is the "shaded 4 patch" because I wasn't sure if I was going to use it as designed.

So today I played in EQ some more and came up with this.

Changed the shaded 4 patch into a regular 4 patch of aqua, brown and neutral. Changed the corner piece on the sashing to neutral. I will probably also strip piece the border in aqua because I had waaaayyyy overcoat the number of strips I needed in step 1. Other than that ... it's Ringo.

I had this design up on my screen as is, left the room to check the oven, and when I walked back into the room and saw the design from a distance I said Eureka!!! So ... step back a few feet

Thoughts??

Wow, Sue, no wonder you said 'Eureka!' It's great. I like the secondary pattern of the circles.

I love the ovals that show as a secondary pattern.

Sandra p that is lovely. Turtle report: I am on block 43. Getting close to 50. It is slow for me but I am plodding along. Dare not start another quilt or I have another UFO. Will show pic when the magic 50 is done!

Great layout, Sue! There are so many possibilities with these units. I wonder if Bonnie Hunter uses EQ to design, or just wings it?

I appreciate all the nice comments. I cant tell you how glad it is finished and I am pleased on how it turned out. The on point was a little challenging for me but I really liked the look of it. When I woke up this morning the first thought in my mind was that I had it done, and it was such a relief.
On Friday I start a two day class and take possession of my new Destiny 2 that hubby bought for me and all I could think of is that if I dont have this quilt finished now it will not get done for a long time while learning the new machine. It has been fun to see everyone's progress and to know we were in on it together.
