I'm in. I have two quilts and one tablerunner that need binding. This I see perfect weather for my handwork.

Well yesterday was a bust for quilting. LOL My son and grandson came over and asked me to spend the day with them as they had shopping errands to do. Of course I said yes. It's not often that an almost teen grandson wants to spend time with grandma so I'm going to soak this up. Today though, is Quilting day.
Let the quilting begin!!!!

Lots going on - we are an active bunch!

Yesterday afternoon I pieced one of the outer circles for the section A group (there are four A-E sections and one F section).

got tired of paper piecing so did the four inner corners (part of section C). The instructions have this done PP, but I did it regular.

When I'm PP, I move my rolling cabinet to my machine and use my cordless iron. Really works nice for this. I no longer use my "add a 1/4 ruler", I just line things up and then cut with scissors. Way faster that way.

I think I've got myself psych'd up enough to work on my FMQ feather skills - this is a large king quilt, so lots of real estate for practice. It's for my bed, so a good one for learning.

Macy baby your quilt sections are stunning! They remind me of tree fern fronds unfurling. I'm really enjoying your progress photos, thanks for sharing.

I'm planning on piecing together a bunch of scraps, hopefully enough to make a lap top. Here I go...

Here is my charity quilt I finished last night. It's rather garish and bright, but it's for a child so that will probably work.

I slept in this morning, so got off to a late start. But I finished my customer's quilt. And put the binding on one. I pulled it out of the closet yesterday to test the pantograph my customer wanted. And then, since it was already quilted, I bound it this morning. I posted a pic in the UFO challenge thread here. I also finished sewing together the center of my Bonnie Hunter #2 top. Borders are next for that one.

I hit the ground running today and forgot to check in. I have completed all 20 appliqué blocks and have completed 24 of 57 pieced blocks on patriotic quilt. Then I made a batch of sugar free chocolate chip cookies for the DH cuz he's been on a sweet feeding frenzie for a couple of weeks. I needed to get some sugar free stuff in the pantry for options. Lol! He doesn't have any health issues regarding sugar...its just that I like his figure the way it is and working hard to ensure it doesn't change. (Ha!). We do what we can do and the rest is up to him.

Everyone's projects are fantastic....

Nancy...you will be a phenomenal president.

The Sewbizgirl.....I love the brightness and pattern. I'm a "bright color girl" at heart so this appeals to me greatly!

keep those machines humming boys and girls!! Woohoo!
