NZ quilter, those more subdued sashings and setting triangles are very restful. Love it!

NZ Your ORL is sparkling.
I finished mine yesterday, now to trim it up and put at least a small border on to stabilize it. I'm planning on more borders after that also.
I will try to get a photo soon, it's so cloudy ,no sun but I hate to complain with what the rest of you are going through.
Maminstil beautiful finish.
auntjo I really like your darker parallelograms.
Kass the end is in sight, are you quilting as you piece these together?

No, I am piecing the blocks into 1/2 blocks, then I am going to join my 1/2 blocks into columns, then I will join the columns QAYG in a stitch and flip way. I haven't done this for a full quilt before. I plan to start w/ the center column, then join all the columns to the right then turn the quilt upside down and join all the columns on the othr side of center keeping the quilt to the left of the machine. It will be simple straight line stitching, but I don't usually get fancy w/ the quilting anyway. (my least favorite part and my least skilled part)

It's great to see so many finished and nearly finished quilt tops so early this year. I have to admit that this was was a challenge to keep in the right order while stitching it together but I finally got it done. At least I think it is done.....not quite sure yet whether I want to put more borders on it to try to tone down the blue setting triangles. I'll have to live with it on the wall for a few days before making a final decision on that. I made a smaller version using 32 blocks instead of 50 that finished at 61 x 77.
