18th Mystery Quilt Train Ride
#374
Love the reveal! I haven't finished the QSTs yet, but that is my weekend goal. Then on to assembly. I'll probably just use two solid borders -- a thin inner and wider outer. But we'll see... Thanks, Judy for another great ride.

I've been sewing along with you on this train ride and have never made a quilt with random scraps before! I found it quite liberating, as I'm usually a very controlled quilter. I think my blocks are kind of awkward thanks to some value glitches, particularly the light yellow I used in the QSTs (not the constant) and some darker neutrals, but it doesn't bother me. I think I will definitely do more random scrappy in the future. For now, I'm bagging these and putting them in my pigs corral with the rest of the herd, as I'm still finishing up the Bonnie Hunter mystery. When the time comes, I'll probably go with some yardage for the border.
Judy, thank you for running such a fun train ride! I will definitely be keeping watch for future mysteries.
