I think the quilt to came out very good. I bet you are glad right now that you didn't throw it away. I find it a lot more modern, because of the fabric choices, than the more traditional Card Trick quilts made of solid material. There are so many seams in it, that I wonder if tying will hold all of them together. I sometimes find that even with overall quilting, when I go to move a quilt, I sometimes pop seams. Your quilt, your choice.

I just don't understand why people have so many problems with jelly rolls that have pinked edges? I only buy the ones with the pinked edges because I hate the frayed edges. When I sew using them I am just consistent with where I sew from. I love the card trick block and will be making it as my next quilt, but I think it's a mistake to tie it in my opinion. I think it may finish up to be one of your favorites!

I saw that video the other day; Jenny's way is SO easy. Love your quilt. Your DGD is right. Bind it and give it to her!

I really like that. The card trick was a bit hard for me to see when you posted just the blocks, but all together here it really comes through. And more than that, it works in the entire pattern. I'm so glad you didn't trash, although I know the feeling of really not liking a current project. Perseverance pays off, because almost always after it's quilted, you have better feelings toward it.

That turned out beautifully, thanks for sharing. It's on my to-do-list.
