Thrilled to pieces...

Hi from the beautiful state of Georgia. I have bought an Husqvarna-Viking machine today. Yay, celebrating!

I'm wondering what year it was made. If anyone can help, I'd sure appreciate it.
The model is 49E, made in Sweden. I am so excited that I was able to purchase this for only $43.oo!! This is an extremely heavy machine... what was I thinking...!?? I am going to restore the cabinet and the machine itself runs quietly! Yay Yay Yay!

Hello and welcome from Australia. I have a Husqvarna-Viking and it is 41 years old and still sews beautifully. Yes, they are a heavy machine but much better than the plastic ones available these days.
