I am working on this quilt also and mine is scrappy but usng all fallcolours mostly. A lady in my quilt group did it last year real scrappy and it was just beautiful and hers inspired me to jump in. I love your colours.
Did you see the quilts they did in Italy of her challenge all different colours ...this has gone world wide.

I often take pictures as I start to assemble a quilt but turning the image to black and white allows you to see where things are too dark or heavy and where you might want to rearrange them. I mostly take photos so I remember how to assemble the top as I intended.
The black in a photo is always blacker than what the eye sees…but this could definitely help with layout.

Thanks for posting these images!

Ya, the center block was a bit much. It had you cutting blocks/strips that were 15/16's and other 16th measurements. Honestly, if I had to do it again I would NOT do it the way she did it in the pattern. It could have been done another way, but I wanted to stick with her pattern in case there was something to be learned with her method.
It definitely would have been easier if she had a paper pieced pattern!

congratulations on your blocks. surprising how different they look in different colors. I saw your post last nite, and had to go back and look to see if this was the same one I was doing. there are a couple different 365 challenges. but yes, this is the one I am doing also. mine is in different blues. I've lost my camera right now. just mis placed it somewhere. hang in there.
