I think it is April 24th. I wonder where they get all this money to give away.

I won publisher’s clearinghouse. I got a percentage of the winners total is what they said. I won $8.86. Ooooo Aaaaaaa!
Somewhere I might still have a photocopy of the check because I thought the amount was hilarious, so yes, people do “win”.

There was a priest in a small Iowa town that won some time ago, like maybe 20 years ago. It was near by, so saw news coverage. So that almost counts as knowing someone who won I don't enter now days because I'm sure it would lead to lots of unwanted emails. I would like to win the lottery, too, but I rarely get around to actually buying a ticket!

I know they got in big trouble years ago, pre-internet. You stuck stamps of the magazines you wanted onto a card pre-printed with their name and address. Their return envelopes had a big cutout in the front for the address to show through, and on the back, star cutouts over the places for the stamps. They could see without even opening the envelope whether or not you had ordered anything. And if you didn't, they just tossed your entry. They got in trouble when the local landfill operator noticed the bales and bales of unopened PCH return envelopes and reported it to the Federal Trade Commission.

Someone's gotta win or it would be against the law. That being said, the neighbor to the best friend of the cousin who's uncle is married to the granddaughter of the secretary to the PCH president's nephew's pediatrician probably won. Jus saying..

i entered once. they keep flooding your emails with instructions to complete the entry process.
as far as i can tell i never did finish because i got sick of getting several emails every few minutes.

ok ... slogging through all that would be worth it if you are the big winner.
but i couldn't devote all that time and effort toward being one of millions who finally made it into the drawing bin.
